The Accounting Associate will provide accounting and financial support for the Company. This role and responsibilities will include monitoring and supporting the business by assisting in the monthly close process and supporting various business projects and activities. This position is supporting a leave of absencefor approximately 3-4 months. Immediate start!
Duties &
Qualifications:
Perform accounting and clerical functions to support the Company (account inquiries, accruals, etc.).
Assist in monthly closing of financials.
Research, track and resolve accounting issues.
Perform general ledger entries and reconciliation for month-end close.
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Review, analyze and monitor expenses.
Support internal and external audits by providing audit schedules, support and responding to inquiries.
Other Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Ability to deal with diverse groups and various levels of financial and operating personnel.
Flexibility, multi-tasking, strong organizational, & communication skills are all required to meet strict deadlines and manage other projects.
Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to work under pressure during peak periods.

Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn.
Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (e.g., Excel).
